First Family session in delaware
I've been blogging over at my other photography website SkaPunkPhotos.com for many years but figure it might be nice to start one over at my business site as well. My first family photo session since moving to Delaware (originally from NY & NJ) was last weekend in Milton, Delaware.
My lovely neighborhood friends needed new holiday photos ('tis the season!) and I was happy to obliged. It made things easier with them being friends but was still fun and challenging to come up with some shots at Edward McCabe Preserve in Milton since a lot of the leaves have fallen down from the trees. We made it work and everything worked out well. I wanted to give them the photos the next day since now is the time to get those holiday cards out!
We got some (ok, maybe a lot) silly photos so that helped lighten the mood a bit. I guess I always take silly photos myself so I'm always down with those. After we were done, we managed to get some last minute photos on the way back to the cars and they ended up being the best shots. Gotta love the 70-200mm f2.8 lens for portraits for my fellow photographers out there!
